Financial Assistance Program
The Financial Assistance Program exists to help reduce barriers to participation in wrestling by providing limited financial support to eligible athletes and families who demonstrate financial need.
To be eligible to apply for financial assistance, applicants must:
- Be a member in good standing with Wrestling NS
- Have applied for and been approved by KidSport for the applicable year
- proof of KidSport approval must be submitted as part of the Financial Assistance application.
- Applicants may be past recipients of financial assistance; however, new applicants may be prioritized where funding is limited.
Eligible Expenses:
- WNS membership fees,
- Club registration or training fees,
- Competition or event registration fees,
- Other participation-related expenses as approved by the review committee.
Apply now:
- Applications for financial assistance will be accepted annually from September 1 to December 31.
- Applications submitted outside of this window will not be considered.
