Who We Are
Nova Scotia Amateur Wrestling Association (commonly referred to Wrestling Nova Scotia, Wrestling NS, or simply WNS) is the official Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) governing Olympic-style wrestling across Nova Scotia.
We are dedicated to growing the sport of amateur wrestling by fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where athletes, coaches, and officials of all ages and backgrounds can thrive. From grassroots youth development and local club programs to high-performance provincial teams competing on the national stage, Wrestling NS supports every step of the athletic pathway.
What We Do
- Grassroots to High Performance: Supporting local member clubs and developing provincial athletes for national and international competition.
- Coach & Official Education: Providing NCCP coaching certification, clinics, and official development to ensure high standards of safety and fair play.
- Safe Sport: Committed to advancing a respectful, welcoming, and accessible sport culture across all sanctioned events and training facilities.
- Sanctioning & Events: Organizing and sanctioning provincial championships, tournaments, and development camps across the province.
